The NORDTRANS company was established at the beginning of the 90s after merging the Swedish and Polish capitals as response to increasing requirement for road freight between Poland and Sweden. After several years of activity and changes in capital the company strengthened its position on the market by extending the range of activity to Norway, Denmark, and South European countries.
In 2005 the board of directors decided that the company’s activity would focus exclusively on temperature-controlled transport, which, due to a good position on the Scandinavian market, oriented the company’s strategy towards developing specialized freight. This decision resulted in changing the company’s name to NORDTRANS THERMO and increased the level of specialization. This enabled cooperation not only with small and average companies but also with big organizations for whom NORDTRANS prepares and manage projects which need timeliness of deliveries and full specialization in temperature-controlled transport.
High specialization and quality of service is due to our professionally qualified staff (all the workers in Gdynia are graduates in transport and logistics in the Economic Department at Gdansk University). The company cooperates on many fields with ferry, customs, cold store and forwarding agencies. This strategy of organization allows us “to create perfect, cost-effective solutions that meet the customer’s needs”.
